German as a Foreign Language
The courses prepare for the DSH-test. Every participant receives a certificate after passing the obligatory final exam.
Types of courses
Elementary I - level A1
Elementary II - level A2
Intermediate I - level B1
Intermediate II - level B2
Advanced - level C1
Where, when and for how long?
All courses take place at Heinrich-Heine University in Düsseldorf.
Courses always start at the beginning of April, August and December.
One course takes about 3 Months and contains 200 hours.
Currently the course costs 300 €, including placement test. Teaching material has to be paid seperately. The payment of the registration fee is due after the placement test, when the final enrolment for the corresponding course is proceeded. Cash payment only.

The placement test is obligatory for every new student. It serves as classification for the course levels.
Next placement test: 3th March 2017
The placement test take place on the first Friday of March, July and November every year.
Please keep in mind that you have to register the month before the placement test (February, June and October)!

Choose Your prefered registration day at the Doodle and sign in with first- an last name. There can only be 30 participants for every registration day. If your preferred day is already full please check for another day. There is no need to contact Mrs. Engel or anyone else of our team. Thank you!
If you got an appointment you need to bring in the following documents in order to register for the placement test:
- a copy of your passport (the international page with photo)
- a copy of your Visa
- a copy of your registration certificate of your residence
- a copy of the translated high school diploma or certificate of studies in the country of origin
